Domuschiev: Bulgarian industry has the potential to partner with NASA
Bulgarian industry has a very high potential to partner with NASA in high technology and artificial intelligence. And Bill Nelson`s visit to our country confirms that.”
These were the words of Kiril Domuschiev, the chairman of the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria (KRIB), who held a meeting with the NASA administrator.
Nelson came here a year after Bulgaria joined the Artemis Accords - an agreement for strategic international partnership in the field of space technologies and the exploration of the Moon and Mars.
The former astronaut, who was part of the crew of the shuttle "Columbia " in 1986, shared with Domuschiev his confidence that we are living in a golden age for space exploration and that Bulgaria has serious opportunities to become a "space economy " – meaning that it can develop space technologies and research, and even send a new astronaut in Space.
